With almost a decade of experience working with women and trauma, Celeste had dedicated her life to creating a safe, non-judgmental, trusting environment for each client. She believes that each person who has experienced trauma has as story that needs to be told and held with honor. Celeste’s focus is working with partners of sexual addiction, women with trauma, and medical professionals. In her work with partners, she emphasizes the individual regaining self empowerment through effective boundaries. With all trauma, including interpersonal, she guides the client to create a safe environment for themselves to begin the healing journey. With a background in Women’s Studies and addiction, Celeste is able to work with women on their specialized needs on the road to recovery. She works with medical professionals with addictions through individual and group sessions. She has experience in working with the state organizations that monitor the professionals which allows the client has a smoother transition into recovery.
Celeste has an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. Her graduate degrees are in Counseling with a emphasis on Spiritual Formations as well as a Master’s in Organizational Management. Celeste has been trained in Seeking Safety, TREM (Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model), MBSR (MIndfulness Based Stress Reduction), and EMDR. She is currently in the process of obtaining her CAADC and LPC.
